Best Way to Get to Hong Kong Disneyland

By MTR (Mass Transit Railway)

  1. Take the Tung Chung Line to Sunny Bay Station.
  2. From Sunny Bay, hop on the Disneyland Resort Line, which will take you straight to Disneyland. (Yes, the Mickey-themed train is an experience in itself!)

Travel Time: From Central, it takes about 30-40 minutes.

Pro Tip : Check the Website or App Before You Go – Visit the official Hong Kong Disneyland website or download the Hong Kong Disneyland app to see the latest showtimes and attractions. This will help you plan your day around the must-see parades, shows, and character meet-and-greets.

How to go to Ngong Ping 360 cable car terminal:

  1. MTR: Take the Tung Chung Line from Hong Kong Station to Tung Chung Station. This journey takes about 30 minutes​
  2. Cable Car: After exiting at Tung Chung, walk to the Ngong Ping 360 cable car terminal. The ride takes approximately 25 minutes and offers breathtaking views of Lantau Island
  • Alternative Options: You can also reach Tung Chung by bus or taxi from various locations in Hong Kong.

Here are some pro tips for your Ngong Ping 360 cable car ride:

  1. Check the Weather: Always check the forecast before your visit. Clear skies will enhance your experience and provide breathtaking views​
  2. Choose the Golden Hour: For the most picturesque experience, ride during the golden hour—either early morning or late afternoon. This time provides stunning light for photos and a more serene atmosphere​
  3. Look Out for Scenic Views: Be sure to enjoy the panoramic views of Lantau Island, Tung Chung Bay, Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong- Zhuhai- Macau Bridge, and you will arrive at Ngong Ping Village.
  4. Cabin Choice: Consider riding in a wooden cabin going to Ngong Ping for a more traditional experience, and switch to a crystal cabin for your return. Crystal cabins often have fewer passengers returning, making it less crowded and a unique way to enjoy the ride back​
  5. Price List: As of now, the ticket prices for the Ngong Ping 360 cable car vary:
    • Standard Cabin: HKD 160 (one-way), HKD 235 (round trip)

Today, it brings joy not only to the people living there but also to countless tourists who visit to experience its vibrant atmosphere.

To get to Rainbow Housing (Choi Hung Estate) in Hong Kong, here are the best options:

1. MTR (Mass Transit Railway)

  • Take the MTR to Choi Hung Station: Board the MTR on the Kwun Tong Line and get off at Choi Hung Station.
  • Exit the station: Use Exit C2, and you’ll find yourself just a short walk from the estate.

2. Bus

  • Bus Routes: 1, 2, 41, and 92.
